About 2013 Menghai Qizi Yunpu Pu'erh Ripe Tea Cake 357g
Our 2013 Menghai Pu’er Riped Cake uses sun-dried Shaiqinmao tea leaves (Yunnan big-leaf variety). It is produced by Fuhai Tea Factory in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan.
The taste of this special riped cake is sweet and mellow, with a fresh, earthy aroma and a smooth mouthfeel. It has a long-lasting, sweet aftertaste. Tasting the tea carefully, a very delicate floral flavour emerges. Since it has been aged over several years, it also has a very special Chen fragrance. The tea soup is pure and clear, wine-red to amber in colour.

A great aged tea cake that has a nice sweet aftertaste. Easy to drink.
Jordan –
Smooth and easy to drink, but with a complexity that shows it’s been thoughtfully aged.
Katie –
The reddish colour of the tea brew was unexpected but it’s become one of my favourite teas.

I would highly recommend this loose leaf tea cake to anyone who likes herbal loose leaf tea. It has an excellent aroma and great flavour.

A really nice tea that shows how beneficial ageing the right tea can be. The cake itself is really beautiful, too.

We love the long-lasting sweet aftertaste of this tea and the initial smokey flavour. The greens, yellows and browns of the cake also make for an attractive feature.
