About JunMei China Red Oolong Black Tea

This special black tea comes from Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve which is the birthplace of black tea in the world. It is made of the fresh tea leaves of high mountain wild tea trees in the National Nature Reserve. The making process of it is based on traditional black tea technologies combined with Oolong tea’s shaking process, which makes it not only the warmth and mellowness of black tea but also the rocky taste of the oolong tea.

Appearance & Taste

The dry tea leaves are tight and straight with deep bronze colour. The tea soup is bright orange without any impurities. The taste of it is sweet with a long-lasting aftertaste combined with a hint of fresh grass fragrance. Due to its unique making technology, it also contains both the warm character of black tea and the rocky flavour of rocky oolong tea. Taking a sip is like being in the vast virgin forest of Wuyi Mountain.

Add 3-5g of tea after warming the cup and smell the tea’s aroma.
Prepare pure water around 100°C.
The first three cups sit for 5-10s, and better not to be exceeded 10s. For more times of brewing, please extend the soaking time to ensure the stability of the tea soup.

Their home – Wuyishan Nature Reserve has a subtropical monsoon climate. This very famous natural reserve, which is 96.3% forest, provides an advantageous natural environment for growing tea. The average altitude of the main producing area is about 1,200 meters. For almost 120 days a year, it is misty.
