2016雨林屹立古茶树普洱茶来自于勐海雨林，此茶原料产自中国云南省西双版纳州的原始森林。 在中国各大茶商中，雨林公司独独以其手工制作的古树普洱茶而闻名，其普洱茶所用的材料几乎是来自于天然生长的普洱古树。仅选用古树普洱茶树上的鲜叶来制作。雨林的最低采摘标准是一芽两叶，它对于普洱茶的质量要求非常严格，由雨林生产的一些普洱茶饼甚至是由一芽一叶制作而成的。 在加工过程中，他们只让当地最了解普洱古树的少数民族的制茶师傅在他们的村庄里制作普洱茶饼。 几乎所有雨林茶都是用手工制作而成的。
