关于台湾冻顶乌龙茶
冻顶乌龙茶之所以被称为“冻顶”，是因为台湾鹿谷附近冻顶山，山多雾，路陡滑，上山采茶都要将脚尖“冻”起来，避免滑下去，山顶叫冻顶、山脚叫冻脚。
产地
冻顶山位于台湾中部著名阿里山风景区的北部，位于中央山脉的山麓。冻顶山种植的青心乌龙茶是制作冻顶乌龙茶的主要原料。冻顶茶园海拔一般在600 ~ 1800米之间(而种植在1000米以上的茶树被认为是高山茶)。这里气候冷凉，早晚云雾笼罩，平均日照短，茶树芽叶苦涩成分降低，进而提高了茶叶的甘味。同时因日夜温差大的缘故，茶树生长缓慢，茶叶芽叶柔软，叶肉厚实，果胶质含量高,使冻顶乌龙茶的味道回味无穷。由于具有这些优越的自然条件，冻顶山具有突出的茶树种植环境。

The leaf looks very straighten, made of large broken pieces of the leaf, uniform in texture and dark gray. Aroma is great and strong.
