蜜香大金芽紅茶比滇紅紅茶口感更豐富、更細膩。它產於雲南南部、西南部的臨沂、寶山、豐慶、西雙版納、德宏等地。這款優質的紅茶屬於大葉紅茶類。此款蜜香大金芽是2019年春季生產的。
與滇紅紅茶相比，蜜香大金芽紅茶口感更豐富、更細膩，嘗起來新鮮醇厚，口感柔滑甜美。
沖泡蜜香大金芽時，用90℃-95℃的熱水沖泡4g-5g（每1g茶50g-60g熱水），第一次沖泡時浸泡茶葉約8s-15s，而後根據衝泡的次數依次延長沖泡時間3s-5s。需要注意的是，沖泡茶葉的時候不要使用開水，因為高溫不僅僅會破壞紅茶葉內的維生素C和其他成分，而且還會加速咖啡因和茶多酚等酚類物質的沉澱，使茶味變得酸澀。
蜜香大金芽的咖啡因含量很高，孕婦或正在服用藥物的人需在醫囑下喫茶。
